數詞：基數詞的用法

用來表示多少和第幾的詞叫數詞。數詞可分為基數詞和序數詞兩類。

1。 基數詞：用來表示多少的詞叫基數詞。

1 one 11 eleven 20 twenty 100 one hundred

2 two 12 twelve 30 thirty 1，000 one thousand

3 three 13 thirteen 40 forty 1，000，000 one million

4 four 14 fourteen 50 fifty 10，000，000 ten million

①13-19 後面都是teen，20-90 後面都是ty。

② 35 → thirty-five 29 → twenty-nine

③179 → one hundred and seventy – nine 205 → two hundred and five

④5893→ five thousand eight hundred and ninety-three

基數詞中沒有百、千的單位詞，用千（thousand）和百萬（million）來表達數字。

1萬=10 thousand 1億=100 million 10億=a thousand million= 1 billion

2。 基數詞的用法

①當基數詞hundred， thousand， million和billion表示大量的確定的數目時，不能在詞尾+s。

two hundred students 200個學生 five thousand years 5000年

②當基數詞hundreds， thousands， millions和 billions表示大量的不確定的數目，後面+of。

hundreds of people 數以百計的人 thousands of trees 成千上萬棵樹
