學好並保持學好的英語，其能力的體現不在於你能否“用上”那些你學過的各種英語表達（很多人學的再多根本就沒機會去表達表達）。

學好並保持學好的英語的能力體現，就在於你見到或想到某個英語表達後，你能不能在這個英語表達的“同義表達”或“同義詞”之間“竄來竄去”：自如地切換。能做到這點，有沒有人跟你說英語都無所謂了：因為你自己就在跟自己“說英語”！

只要你在“說英語”，學的英語會忘嗎？

你做得到在英語的同義表達之間自如切換，竄來竄去嗎？

1）比如，英語有句Idiom：Let’s split the difference。

1。 比如：

- You want to sell it for $120， and I want to buy it for $100。 Let‘s split the difference and close the deal at $110。

- I don’t want to split the difference。 I want $120。

一個sell for$120，一個buy for only $100。

這$20就叫difference：difference in price 差價

又比如：

- You‘re asking $5，000 for the car and I’m offering $4，000； let‘s split the difference and make it $4，500。

一個ask for$5000，一個offer only $4000，之間的$1000就叫difference：difference in price 差價
