衝動購買

I usually buy many clothes on impulse。

我常常一衝動就買很多衣服。

A：Why did you buy a green shirt？

B：I bought it on impulse。

我一衝動就買了。

buy sth。on impulse 是動詞短語

其名詞短語是 impulse buying

分期付款

I paid for a car in installments。

我以分期付款的方式買了一輛車。

對話

A：Will you pay in full or installments？

您是一次性付清，還是分期付款？

B：I will pay in installments。

我要分期付款。

“按月分期付款”：pay in monthly installments

“一次性付清”：pay in full

公道的價格

單詞fair的意思是“公道的”

The products in our store are guaranteed genuine goods at a fair price。

我們店確保商品貨真價實。

對話

A：$35 is a fair price。

35美元是很公道的價格了。

B：I will consider it carefully。

我會好好考慮一下的。

意思相對的“不公道的價格”

用英語表示是unfair price

刷信用卡購買

I bought a television on credit。

我刷信用卡買了一臺電視。

A：Will you buy it on credit or cash？

您是刷信用卡還是付現金？

B：On credit。

刷信用卡。

購物時通常會有兩種付款方式

即pay in credit card“刷信用卡”

和pay in cash“付現金”

以七折購買

I bought a mobile phone at 30% off。

我以七折的價格買了一部手機。

對話

A：I want to buy it at 30% off。

我想以七折的價格購買。

B：I can‘t give you more than a 20% discount。

我最多隻能給你打八折。

我們通常用discount來表示“折扣”

所以“以七折購買”還可以表示成

buy it at a 30% discount

講價

“講價”是要“講”沒錯

但它的英文表達裡沒有speak

而是用bargain來表示，也就是我們常說的“砍價”

When I’m shopping，I always bargain with the seller。

我在購物時經常和售貨員講價。

對話

A：I don‘t like bargaining when shopping。

買東西時我不喜歡講價。

B：But if you bargain you might save some money。

但是如果你講價的話，可能會省點錢。

在購物時，買賣雙方經常會“討價還價”，英文表達是haggle

tip

小費

不要看到“小費”中有個“小”字

就認為表達中應該包含small

其實“小費”直接用tip表示就可以

I gave the waiter a $10 tip。

我給了服務員10美元的小費。

對話

A：How much did you give the waiter as a tip？

你給了服務員多少小費？

B：15 dollars。

15美元。

tip也可以作動詞，意為“付小費”

如：tip the waiter 5 dollars

“給服務員5美元小費”

raise the price

漲價

They raise the price of the vegetables。

蔬菜漲價了。

對話

A：Why did you raise the price？

你們怎麼漲價了？

B：It is because of the rising cost。

因為成本上漲了。

“漲價”還可以表示成bring the price up

另外，“降價”可以用lower the price表示

overcharge

敲竹槓

“敲竹槓”也經常說成“宰人”

就是指找藉口抬高價格

所以用英語可以表示為overcharge

I didn’t buy that computer because they overcharged me。

因為他們敲我竹槓，我沒有買那臺電腦。

對話

A：They overcharged me 20 dollars for the dinner last night。

昨晚那頓飯他們敲我竹槓了，多收了我20美元。

B：That‘s unfortunate。

真不走運啊！

“敲某人竹槓”除了用overcharge sb。外

還可以用rip sb。off來表示
