耳杯又稱羽觴、羽杯，是中國古代的一種盛酒器具，是從戰國開始就有的，這種器形首先被發現在戰國的青銅器上，當時出現了一個字的銘文，該銘文是金字旁加個“和”，發音就是“舟”，寓意是小船的意思。

Ear cup， also known as feather cup and feather cup， is a kind of wine container in ancient China， which has existed since the Warring States period。 This shape was first found on the bronze ware of the Warring States period。 At that time， there was an inscription of a word， which is “he” beside the gold character， and the pronunciation is “boat”， which means boat。

從外形上看，的確如同一隻船，因此印證了該銘文和此種器皿是對應的。到了漢代以後便被定名為羽觴杯，雙耳杯，一直延續到魏晉南北朝，到唐代的時候絕跡，至明清又有出現，不過這時形制已有改變，用途也已不作為實用器，只作為禮器或擺件。羽觴出現於戰國時期，一直延續使用至魏晉，名稱逐漸通俗化為“耳杯”，其後逐漸消失。

From the appearance， it is indeed like a ship， so it is confirmed that the inscription corresponds to this kind of vessel。 After the Han Dynasty， it was named “Yu Cup” and “double ear cup”。 It lasted until the Wei， Jin， southern and Northern Dynasties， disappeared in the Tang Dynasty， and appeared again in the Ming and Qing Dynasties。 However， at this time， the shape and system had been changed， and the purpose was not as a practical tool， but only as a ritual or ornament。 The feather cup appeared in the Warring States period and continued to be used until the Wei and Jin Dynasties。 Its name gradually became “ear cup” and then gradually disappeared。

自羽觴問世以來，觴既是羽觴的省稱，同時又成了所有酒杯的通稱。故古人把行酒叫“行觴”，稱酒政為“觴政”。三國曹植《七啟》詩云：“盛以翠樽，酌以雕觴，浮蟻鼎沸，酷烈馨香。”李白《留別曹南群官之江南》詩曰：“愁為萬里別，復此一銜觴。”這裡的觴可能指羽觴，因為當時確在流行羽觴。歐陽修《浣溪沙·燈燼垂花月似霜》詞雲：“雙手舞餘拖翠袖，一聲歌已釂金觴。”這裡的金觴恐怕就不是指羽觴，而是泛指酒杯，因為宋代已無羽觴。

Since the invention of the Yu cup， the cup is not only the provincial name of the Yu cup， but also the general name of all the wine cups。 Therefore， the ancients called wine drinking “wine drinking” and “wine drinking” policy。 Cao Zhi of the Three Kingdoms， in his poem Qi Qi， said： “when you drink the green cup and carve the cup， the floating ants are boiling， and the fragrance is intense。” Li Bai‘s poem “farewell to the south of the Yangtze River where Cao nanqun’s officials left behind” said： “sorrow is a farewell to thousands of miles， and the cup is repeated。” The cup here may refer to the feather cup， because it was really popular at that time。 Ouyang Xiu‘s “huanxisha， lights and ashes hanging flowers and moon like frost” said： “dancing with both hands and dragging Green sleeves， a song has already reached the golden cup。” I’m afraid that the gold cup here does not refer to the feather cup， but generally refers to the wine cup， because the Song Dynasty has no feather cup。

軒宇藝術有幸徵得一件漢代耳杯，器具外形橢圓、淺腹、平底，兩側有半月形雙耳，整體受鐵質沁染呈褐色及赭色，深淺變化，過渡有序。因其形狀像爵，兩側有耳，就象鳥的雙翼，故名“羽觴”。此件耳杯老舊痕跡明顯，造型比例協調，不論細部處理，還是整體把握，均增益有度，恰到好處，一絲不苟，殊為難得，是一件不錯的藝術陳設收藏美品。
