A Gift of the Leeum Art Museum Ian Cheng： The World， the artist‘s first solo exhibition in Asia。 Through his groundbreaking works， including virtual ecosystems created with artificial intelligence and game engines， Ian Cheng （b。 1984） creatively explores and philosophizes about the nature of human consciousness。 Ian Cheng： The World is the first exhibition to bring together all of the virtual worlds created by Cheng。 The artist’s boundless imagination and futuristic vision are on full display in all five featured works， the latest of which was produced with the support of Leeum。

關於 Leeum 藝術博物館

The Leeum Museum of Fine Arts was established in 2004 by the Samsung Cultural Foundation to preserve Korea‘s cultural assets and share with the public an extensive collection ranging from traditional Korean art to modern and contemporary art from around the world。 The museum is dedicated to enhancing the appreciation and understanding of art through exhibitions， artist support programs， education， research and publications。 Three of the world’s most renowned architects designed the museum‘s three buildings。 Mario Botta designed the terracotta architecture for the museum’s collection of traditional Korean art （M1）， Jean Nouvel designed the rusted stainless steel architecture for the museum‘s collection of modern and contemporary art （M2）， and Rem Koolhaas designed the museum’s futuristic black concrete and glass architecture for the museum‘s special exhibitions and children’s educational and cultural center。
