篆刻Seal cutting

The art of seal cutting is a combination of calligraphy and engraving to make seals。

Seal cutting rose in the pre Qin Dynasty， flourished in the Han Dynasty，

declined in the Jin Dynasty，

failed in the Tang and Song Dynasties，

revived in the Ming Dynasty and prospered in the Qing Dynasty。

篆刻興起於先秦，興盛於漢代，衰落於金代，衰落於唐宋，復興於明代，興盛於清代。
