-> No， she is not a good doctor。［不，她不是一位好醫生。］

一. 英文和中文，哪裡不一樣？

1） Yes的意思為“是的”，主要放於句首，用來回答表示“同意或肯定”的意思。

2） No的意思是“不”，主要放於句首，用來回答他人的提問，表示否定的意思。

而在句子中的“不”要用“not”來表示。不過要特別注意的是，中文會講“不是”，但英文卻要講成“是不”，用“be動詞＋not”表示。

二. 必學重點

1） Yes常放在句首，用於回答表示“同意或肯定”；Yes後面要加逗號。

2） No放於句首，用於回答表示否定的意思；not放於句中使用，表示“不”的意思。中文講“不是”；英文要講“是不”。

1、Yes的分析

1） 她是一位好醫生嗎？是的，她是一位好醫生。

①中文 = 英文-> 她是一位好醫生嗎？= Is she a good doctor？（√）

②中文 = 英文-> 是的，她是一位好醫生。= Yes， she is a good doctor。（√）

常見錯誤：Yes she is a good doctor。（×）

Yes後面要加逗號！用Yes回答問題的方法

①把Is搬到主語的後面。-> Is she a good doctor？

②把問號改成句號。-> she is a good doctor。

③在前面加上Yes。 -> Yes， she is a good doctor。

2、No的分析

1） 她是一位好醫生嗎？不，她不是一位好醫生。

①中文 = 英文-> 她是一位好醫生嗎？= Is she a good doctor？（√）

②中文 = 英文-> 不，她不是一位好醫生。= No， she is not a good doctor。 （×）

常見錯誤：No she not is a good doctor。（×）

No和Yes一樣，後面要加逗號，英文裡“不是”，要講成“是不”＝is not！用No回答問題的方法

13） 那位醫生是忙碌的。-> That doctor is busy。

14） 那位醫生是忙碌的嗎？-> Is that doctor busy？

15） 是的，他是。-> Yes， he is。

16） 是的，他是忙碌的。-> Yes， he is busy。

17） 那位高的老師是胖的。-> That tall teacher is fat。

18） 那位高的老師是胖的嗎？-> Is that tall teacher fat？

19） 是的，他是。-> Yes， he is。

20） 是的，他是胖的。-> Yes， he is fat。

2、No的練習

“說不”是一種藝術，但用英文就沒有那麼深奧啦！只要把no和not放在正確的地方就好！

1）你是快樂的。-> You are happy。

2）你不是快樂的。-> You are not happy。

3）那張書桌（desk）是小的。-> That desk is small。

4）那張書桌不是小的 。-> That desk is not small。

5）你是胖的。-> You are fat。

6）你是胖的嗎？-> Are you fat？

7）不，我不是胖的。-> No， I am not fat。

8）這隻狗是髒的。-> This dog is dirty。

9）這隻狗是髒的嗎？-> Is this dog dirty？

10）不，它不是髒的。-> No， it is not dirty。

11）那個媽媽（mother）是瘦的。-> That mother is thin。

12）那個媽媽是瘦的嗎？-> Is that mother thin？

13）不，那個媽媽不是瘦的。-> No， that mother is not thin。

14）這些書是新的。-> These books are new。

15）這些書是新的嗎？-> Are these books new？

16）不，這些書不是新的。-> No， these books are not new。

17）那些學生是聰明的。-> Those students are smart。

18）那些學生是聰明的嗎？-> Are those students smart？

19）不，那些學生不是聰明的。-> No， those students are not smart。
