use 和 to 天生就是一對。它們通常有以下幾種搭配和用法，一起來看看吧：

used to do sth. 指客觀地表示過去的習慣，既可是過去經常發生的動作，又可是過去一向存在的狀態，比would通俗，往往含今昔感。過去常常做某事（暗含現在不做了），

比如：

We used to go sailing on the lake in summer。

從前的夏天，我們經常泛舟湖上。

You used to see a lot of her， didn’t you？

你過去常見她吧？

be used to doing sth. / be used to sth. 是指習慣於做某事（注意：這裡的to 是介詞啊！！），

比如：

He is used to living here now。

他已經習慣住在這兒了。

I used to be terrible about doing some kind of daily exercise。

我以前特別討厭做些日常鍛鍊。

be used to do sth.這是一個被動語態，表示被用來做某事。對應的主動語態是：use sth. to do sth.

Harry also learns to be brave and to do things he used to be afraid of。

哈利也變得大膽了，敢於做過去不敢做的事。

Cursors do not need to be used to read only the first message in a queue。

僅讀取佇列中的第一條訊息時不需要使用遊標。
