At present， the Jiangtou Village is carrying forward the culture while developing its economy。 They raised money to form two lion dance teams to perform locally， while promoting their skills to other regions through the Internet。 They take part in competitions， perform all over the country， and participate in celebrations， weddings and funerals。

舞獅有南北兩大派系。從造型上來看，北獅有著鮮亮的外表和滿身獅毛，南獅獅身則以布條為主，蔣頭舞獅屬於北獅的一種。因為地域特點，中原人崇尚武學，所以蔣頭舞獅也有著自己的獨特之處。區別於其他北獅的是，它和武術頗有淵源。

The cultural wall of Jiangtou Village displays the honors that Jiangtou Lion Dance has won over the years。 In 1993， it won the honor of “One of the Best in Heluo Region”。 In 2002， it won the first prize in the first lion dance competition in Zhengzhou。 In 2009， it won the title of “Lion King of the Central Plains”。 In 2012， it won the first prize at the Godox Cup Lion Dance Competition。 In 2014， it won the special prize at the Chinese National Excellent Art Performance Exhibition。 In 2019， it won the second prize at the Zhengzhou Lion Dance Tournament。

一直以來，舞獅都是蔣頭村民生活中必不可少的一部分，逢年過節，喜事臨門都要拉出獅子熱鬧舞弄一番。舞獅不僅能給人帶來精神上的鼓舞，更能強身健體。

目前，蔣頭村民發展經濟不忘傳承文化，自主集資組建兩個舞獅團隊，不但立足本地，還利用網路向外推銷精湛的舞獅技藝，透過參加比賽，到全國各地演出，參與各種慶典、婚喪嫁娶等活動。

隨著蔣頭村舞獅文化的逐步市場化，越來越多的人參與了進來，現在蔣頭舞獅團隊有兩個團，共約150人。分別在首屆河南省藝術節、中國鄭州少林武術節上獲得一等獎；在河南省博覽會上，蔣頭舞獅獲特等獎，河南著名作家李準先生曾為其題詞“天真雄威活潑可愛”。

在蔣頭村文化東牆上展示了蔣頭獅舞歷年來所獲得的榮譽，包括：1993年獲“河洛一絕”榮譽，2002年獲鄭州首屆舞獅大賽一等獎，2009年榮獲“中原獅王”稱號，2012年榮獲神牛杯獅王爭霸一等獎，2014年榮獲華夏民族優秀藝術演展特等獎，2019年榮獲鄭州市獅王爭霸邀請賽二等獎等。
