英語中有一些看起來極為相似的片語，不同之處僅僅在於是否含有定冠詞the。小心了，有時它們表示的意義並不同。

片語in the front of和in front of都有“在……前面”的意思，但含義不同。in the front of表示“在……（範圍內的）前面”；而in front of表示“在……（範圍外的）前面”。如：
