主語為and、or等並列詞連線的名詞作主語，謂語的單複數要這樣變

初中英語的語法點很少，基本上記住一些固定結構就可以掌握一大部分的語法知識，特別是一些主謂一致的用法，搞清楚其前後的名詞和語法結構，就可以順利做出答案，而且舉一反三，一勞永逸，做對題很容易。

並列主語是指主語為and、or等並列詞連線的名詞作主語，其謂語的單複數要看情況而定，一語道破8個考點。

考點1.當【名詞+and+名詞】結構表示一種事物或一種概念時，謂語動詞應用單數形式。

eg1：Fish and chips（炸魚土豆片）（ is）a delicious dinner。

eg2： The poet and writer（詩人兼作家） （ is）my teacher。

eg3：Time and tide（歲月） wait / waits for no man。

英語中這種情況的用法還有：

①a needle and thread（針線）；

②salt and water（鹽水）；

③coffee and milk；

④bread and butter；

⑤the hammer and sickle（錘子鐮刀圖案）；

⑥a watch and chain（帶鏈的表）；

⑦iron and steel（鋼鐵）；

⑧the worker and writer；

⑨the secretary and headmaster（秘書兼校長）；

考點2.當【each / every / no+單形名詞+ each / every / no+單數名詞】結構時，謂語動詞應該用單數。

eg：Every hour and every minute（ is）

3.當【名詞/代詞+or+名詞/代詞】結構時，應根據or後的名詞/代詞去決定謂語動詞的單/複數形式。

eg：Either the cups or the bowl（ is）a good China。中國好瓷器。

考點4.當【either+名詞+or+名詞】結構時，應根據or後的名詞/代詞來選擇謂語動詞的單/複數形式。

eg：Not only the boys but also

考點5.當【not only+名詞+but (also) +名詞】結構時，其謂語動詞應與but (also)後的名詞單複數形式保持一致。

eg1：Neither Tom nor his sister（ is）a teacher。

eg2：Neither she nor they（are）teachers。

eg1：There is a boyand some girls in the classroom。

eg2：There are two pens

and a pencil in the pencilbox。

考點6.當【neither+名詞+nor+名詞】結構，其謂語動詞應該與nor後面的名詞單複數保持一致。

其謂語動詞根據：名詞+介詞或介詞短語with / together with / along with / including / except / besides /but/；謂語動詞形式應該與第一個名詞保持一致。

eg：A boy， with his girlfriends， is talking a woman。

還有as well as /as much as/ added to/no less than/in addition to…+名詞的結構作主語，謂語的選擇應該與第一個名詞一致。

eg：I as well as lijun am doing Kungfu。
