a lot of和lots of後加什麼

一、lots of 和 a lot of 意思一樣，意為“許多”，表示量很大，但是沒必要指明量的多少，多用在比較不正式的談話或是寫作中（正式的用 many 或 much），後面跟可數名詞和不可數名詞，謂語的單複數根據後面接的名詞來變化，例如：

可數名詞：

A lot of people went to the game。

很多人去看了比賽。

Lots of people went to the game。

很多人去看比賽。

A lot of computers are

needed

at schools。 ——>

computers 為複數，謂語用複數

學校需要很多電腦。

Lots of computers are needed at schools。

學校需要很多電腦。

不可數名詞：

A lot of snow falls in winter。——>snow為不可數名詞，謂語用單數

冬天下了很多雪。

Lots of snow falls in winter。

冬天下了很多雪。

A lot of water is wasted。

很多水被浪費了。

Lots of water is wasted。

大量的水被浪費了。

一般情況下，lots of 和 a lot of 可以通用，相比於 a lot of，lots of 更為不正式

二、a lot 當作副詞，意為“經常，很多”，例如：

I like basketball a lot。

我非常喜歡籃球。

She‘s a lot happier now than she was。

她現在比以前快樂多了。

I don’t go there a lot anymore。

我不再經常去那裡了。

Mum and I used to fall out a lot。

我和媽媽過去經常爭吵。

三、為避免句子冗長，通常把 lots of 簡寫為 lots，相當於 plenty，例如：

She didn’t bring anything to eat but we’ve got lots anyway。 =

She didn’t bring anything to eat but we’ve got lots of sth (sth edible) anyway.

她沒帶吃的，但我們還有很多。

A： I haven’t got

any

money。

A：我沒有錢。
