1. play

的用法

（1）play後加球類名詞，其前不用加定冠詞the；play後加樂器名詞，其前要加定冠詞the。如：

①They often play basketball after school。

（2）play與介詞with 連用，表示“和某人玩或玩某物”。如：

Look！ The cat is playing with a ball。

1. Let's play basketball.

我們一起打籃球吧。

這是一個以let開頭的祈使句。let‘s是let us的縮寫形式，意為“讓我們……”，常用來徵求別人的意見或提出建議，其後接動詞原形。肯定回答一般用OK。/All right。/Great。/Sounds good。/Yes， let’s。。。；否定回答一般用Sorry， I．。。/No， let‘s。。。。如：

—Let’s watch TV。 讓我們看電視吧。

—OK。 行。

【延伸】英語中還有其他提出建議的句型。如：Why don‘t you＋do。。。？，Why not＋do。。。？，How/What about＋doing。。。？。前兩句意為“為什麼不……呢”，最後一句意為“……怎麼樣”。如：

①Why not watch TV？

＝Why don’t you watch TV？

你為什麼不看電視呢？

②How/What about watching TV？

sound是連繫動詞，意為“聽起來”，後接形容詞作表語。如：

介詞for的用法：

（1）意為“供……用；給……的”。如：

Is this apple for me？

語法精講

1. have

在一般現在時態中的用法

（1）have意為“有”，單數第三人稱作主語時，變為has。如：

①I have an English book。

我有一本英語書。

②He has an English book。

他有一本英語書。

（2）助動詞do/does幫助構成have的一般現在時的否定句或疑問句，無意義。如：

1）否定句：

①I don’t have an English book。

我沒有一本英語書。

②He doesn‘t have an English book。

他沒有一本英語書。

2）一般疑問句以及回答：

①—Do you have。。。？

—Yes， I do。/No， I don’t。

②—Do they have。。。？

—Yes， they do。/No， they don‘t。

③—Does he have。。。？

—Yes， he does。/No， he doesn’t。

④—Does she have。。。？

—Yes， she does。/No， she doesn‘t。

連詞的用法

I don’t have a soccer ball，but my brother Alan does。我沒有足球，但我哥哥/弟弟艾倫有。

but是表示轉折的連詞，意為“然而；可是”。如：

I like basketball but he doesn‘t。

我喜歡籃球但他不喜歡。

連詞and， but， so與or的用法：

如：

①He doesn’t like watching TV， but his son does。

他不喜歡看電視，但是他兒子喜歡。（表示轉折關係）

②I go out of the classroom and go home。

我出了教室回家了。（表示順承關係）

③I feel tired， so I want to go to relax。

【注意】and， but， so， or都是並列連詞，用來連線兩個對等的成分，對等的成分可以是詞，也可以是短語或句子。
