“年齡”話題各種表達，再也不是I am XX years old 咯！

那來談談 各種“年齡”話題的表達：

He‘s in his early twenties。 他二十歲剛出頭。

She’s in her mid-thirties。她三十歲左右。

They are in their mid-to-late forties。 他們年齡在35-40歲之間。

比如，describe a foreign celebrity you want to meet in person。

描述你想要見到的外國名人。

e。g： I‘m going to talk about Brad Pitt， he’s an American actor， I think he must be in his early-to-mid fifities now。

我將要說一說布拉德皮特，他是一名美國演員，他的年齡應該在50-55歲左右。

又比如：describe a person who made you laugh happily when you were a child。 描述一個在你童年時期能讓你開懷大笑的人。

e。g： I‘m going to talk about my first English teacher，she was quite young，I guess she was in her early-to-mid twenties。

我將要談到我的第一位英語老師，他相當年輕，我猜他的年齡應該在20-25之間。

PS： （1）“in one’s early +數字（年齡）” 表達在某人多少歲剛出頭；

（2）“in one‘e mid-數字（年齡）”表達某人年齡在多少歲左右。

mid 是中間的意思，所以

如： in her mid-twenties = 20-30歲之間

（3）“in one’s mid-to-late +數字（年齡）”表達是某人在這年齡數字前半部分之間。“mid-to-late”派生意思是 ”後半部分之間“

mid-to-late twenties=15-20； mid-to-late forties=35-40

如：In her mid-to-late thirties =她的年齡在25-30歲之間

（3）“in one‘s early-to-mid +數字”表達某人在這年齡數字的後半部分之間。

“early-to-mid“派生意思是”前半部分之間“

early-to-mid twenties=20-25； early-to-mid forties=40-45

如： In his early-to-mid thirties =他的年齡在30-35歲之間
